The 15th edition of the Pangborn Sensory Science Symposium has ended, leavind us with fresh perspectives.

Sensory minds from around the world gathered for this biennial event which, this time, was organized in the beautiful city on Nantes, France. With the theme, “Meeting New Challenges in a Changing World”, the symposium sparked intriguing discussions about our senses and how they work—truly food for thought.

Naturally, Essensor, as the market leader and authority on sensory research in the Netherlands, was attendee. The symposium provided the perfect setting to dive into insightful talks and explore the changing world of sensory. In the heart of Nantes, ideas flowed over good chats and tasty bites. Topics of interest: AI, immersion, claim substantiation, health and sustainability, data analysis, and many more.

Essensor would also like to congratulate Kees de Graaf for achieving the ‘Established Researcher’ Award. Truly deserved! A big thank you to all who joined the symposium. Looking ahead, let’s plan to reconnect in Pennsylvania in two years. Until then, let’s keep the conversation going. Au-revoir!
