Sensory tip #3: You smell what you see

Google two full screen pictures, one of red juicy cherries and one of dark roasted almonds. Tell someone that seeing an object heightens the sense of aroma for that object. Show the cherries picture (don’t show the almonds yet). Now ask him or her to smell a glass of cherry cola and ask if the aroma of cherries is clearly there. Now switch to the almond picture and ask to smell again. The aroma will have turned into almond.

The main odour components in cherry and almond are rather similar.
