What is the sensory difference?

Sometimes you don’t just want to know whether there is a difference or not, but also what that difference is. To answer that question Essensor uses different descriptive techniques from sensory research.

In general Essensor’s sensory panel starts with a training in which it develops a common language for a standardized sensory description of products. After a trial measurement and feedback round, the panel proceeds with the measurements. The results show to what extent the products differ from each other. This way, you can determine for example whether there is room for the introduction of a new product. Or which prototypes are sensorial different enough to be interesting for further development.
